The winning fish measured 30 inches and weighed 11.4 pounds. The Billy Young Team won second place.
A portion of the annual tournament’s proceeds will go to help support Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department in Deltaville. Bush Park Mobile Home Park in Wake was the headquarters for the event. “The entire community had a great time,” said a spokesman for the event.
