The Middlesex High School (MHS) Lady Charger cross country team finished third in a quad-meet last week in a 5K (3.1-mile) race on an “unseasonably hot day” at King William High School.
The New Kent Lady Trojans won the meet with almost a perfect score. A perfect team score in cross country is 15 and the Lady Trojan harriers finished as a team with 18 points.
The West Point Lady Pointers finished second as a team with 66 points. Middlesex was third with 77 points and the King William Lady Cavaliers were fourth with 79 points.
