A memorial service celebrating the life of Willie Alfonzo Burrell Jr. is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11 at First Baptist Amburg Church, near Deltaville.
A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 2001 W. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. Interment was at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation, in memory of Mr. Burrell, to First Baptist Amburg Church, P.O. Box 615, Deltaville, VA 23043.
J.K. Redmond Funeral Home of Shacklefords is assisting the family.
