Golfers are invited to the Dave Marchant Memorial Virginia Veterans Golf Tournament set for Friday, Sept. 22, at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus Assembly 3349, this is a four-player captain’s choice competition open to everyone. All proceeds will benefit Virginia veterans and their families.
Team prizes will be awarded in each of three flights and golfers will also compete for individual prizes. The $90 per player entry fee includes use of the practice range, golf cart rental, greens fee, on-course beverages, and dinner in the Steamboat Restaurant. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.
