Prettyman’s Rolling Road descends to the waterfront at the end of Virginia Street. The early economy of Virginia was built from the buying and selling of tobacco. This is history marker #12 of 14 in Urbanna’s Museum in the Streets walking/driving tour. The marker is located at the old Scottish Mills Factor Store, which currently houses the Urbanna Museum and Visitor’s Center. The video aspect of the tour is currently down, but the markers have a remarkable amount of Urbanna’s 350-year history.
