“Hee Haw” made its television debut on June 15, 1969. This Saturday, Nov. 8, Virginia’s Lil’ Ole Opry in Mathews will present a special tribute to “Hee Haw.” It will feature the house band, Shades of Country, and all of the Opry singers, including some special guests, performing the best songs of the hit TV show, along with a tribute to the fun-loving tunes (and corny jokes) of the late Uncle Jimmy Wickham!

From the great songs of “Hee Haw,” like “Gloom, Despair and Agony” and “The Gossip Song” plus a ton of corny jokes, the show should be a lot of fun!

Be prepared to reminisce with songs from Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Ray Stevens, Roger Miller, Barbara Mandrell, George and Tammy and so much more!

The group will perform at Mathews High School at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 for all adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger and can be purchased in advance at the Mathews Visitor Center in Mathews and Marketplace Antiques on U.S. 17 in Hayes.

As always, tickets are available at the door on show night, starting at 6:30 p.m.
