Sentinel to again publish children’s letters to Santa

Santa is eagerly awaiting letters from Middlesex County children. (Contributed)

Parents are urged to encourage their children to write a letter to Santa and submit it to the Sentinel by Dec. 9. We look forward to sharing all the wishes with Santa this year!

The Sentinel requests that children write and send in their individual letters to Santa directly to the Sentinel.

Letters must be emailed, faxed or delivered to the Sentinel office’s foyer dropbox no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, in order to appear in the special section.

Letters should include the child’s first and last name, age, and community of residence.

Parents are asked to make certain the letters are legible. The letters should be short and concise, so Santa can read them quickly.

Include a phone number in case Santa has questions. The phone number won’t be published.

  • Email “Letters to Santa” to Editor@SSentinel.com;
  • Fax to 804-758-5896;
  • Mail to Southside Sentinel, P.O. Box 549, Urbanna, VA 23175;
  • or bring by the Sentinel office at 276 Virginia St. in Urbanna.
