The Pride of Middlesex Award and Banquet, presented by the Middlesex County Rotary Club, will be presented at the Deltaville Maritime Museum Pavilion on the evening of April 1. Details on how to attend, sponsor, donate for the benefit of this year’s honoree’s charity and Rotary philanthropy will be published in an upcoming edition of the Southside Sentinel.
The Pride of Middlesex Award was established in 1997 by the Vocational Services Committee of the Middlesex Rotary Club and has now been awarded 20 times since then.
This award is given to an individual, family or organization in the county that has made an exceptional contribution; giving “Service Above Self” to Middlesex County, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or to the nation.
Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. and the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Pilot House Inn restaurant in Topping or by Zoom.
