Route 625 closing for bridge replacement

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced at the Dec. 1 Middlesex County Board of Supervisors meeting that it will replace the bridge on Route 625 over Barrick’s Mill Pond. Work is scheduled to start by February 2021. Route 625, also called Barrick’s Mill Road, between Syringa and Wake, will be closed to through traffic for 90 to 120 days and work is scheduled to take approximately four months to complete.
