Everyone loves to get good news. There is excitement in sharing good news. Birth announcements are good news. Wedding announcements are good news. Graduations and promotions are good news. Good news brings a smile to the face and joy to the heart. We all could use good news.
The story of Jesus is often called the gospel. The word gospel means “good news.” Those that believe in Jesus are called to go and share the good news.
Good news is to be a joy to share. Good news should be shared with a light heart and excitement. Those with good news often cannot help but share it with everyone. Laughter, smiles, and joy can be contagious.
The strange thing is this — many Christians do not share the good news. So if a Christian is not sharing the good news, they must ask themselves why…
