Philippi Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Deltaville offers two sources of funds for annual scholarships to Middlesex County students based on need and achievement.
The Mildred Barnes Scholarship is available to students in high school or college seeking advancement in two- or four-year institutions. The Brooks-Brainard Scholarship is available to students seeking further education in the medical field, also to any two- or four-year institution.
