Parrott family boasts deep roots in Middlesex County

The wedding of Jay Parrott and Brianna Phares in September brought home members of the Parrott family, one of the first English families to settle in Middlesex County in 1649. They include, standing at the front door of Nesting, the ancient home of the immigrant Richard Parrott, from left, Jason Ray Parrott, J. Mark Parrott Sr., Jimmie Ray Parrott, Angela Parrott Miller, Isabella Parrott, Jessica Parrott, Ace Miller, Jacey Parrott, Amelia Miller, Jay Mark Parrott II (groom), and Adelyn Miller.
