One Community Under God invites everyone to attend

This year’s One Community Under God will be Sunday, Oct. 5, and all are invited to come share such a special time.

OCUG begins at 11 a.m. and is being presented at the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department station (the Urbanna firehouse). This year, members of 11 Middlesex County churches have come together to prepare and host this annual event.

The focus of this year’s worship gathering is Psalm 23 and will be led by the Rev. John Wright. The other ministers will share scripture that is of the same nature as the words of King David.

There will be congregational singing, accompanied by the Rev. K. LaMar Gresham of First Antioch Baptist Church, Powahatan. Other individual musicians will also perform. They are Beth Justice and Charles “Bunny” Dunlevy, both of Middlesex. George Robins and the Robinettes will also perform.
