Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville was founded in 1808, and currently worships in its fourth church structure. On Sunday, March 8, the congregation and community will celebrate God’s continuing blessings on the Zoar ministry.
On April 16, 2011 the sanctuary built in the 1950s was destroyed by the devastating tornado in the Deltaville area. Damage to the fellowship hall was completed first in order to accommodate worship, and ground was broken for a new sanctuary on September 9, 2012. It was dedicated on September 8, 2013.
