The Joshua Halstead Award is an achievement award that is presented by the Middlesex NAACP to the most improved student at St. Clare Walker Middle School in Locust Hill. The improvement period spans from grades sixth through eighth. This year Avery Wyatt was the recipient of the Joshua Halstead Award.
During this month’s general membership meeting, set for 7 p.m. June 22, the Middlesex NAACP will have special guest Mary Atterholt, Victim Witness Advocate director. During this time the NAACP is conducting meetings “virtually.”
