Montague Kitchen and Cookery School announces grand opening in Urbanna

The Cookery School will celebrate its official launch with a grand opening event on Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon to 4 p.m. This open house and meet and greet will offer the community a first look at the state-of-the-art facilities and diverse range of cooking experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the chef, enjoy cooking demonstrations, complimentary tastings, and learn more about upcoming classes and workshops.

Montague Kitchen and Cookery School aims to become a cornerstone of culinary arts in the Middle Peninsula. The school will offer hands-on instruction for home cooks of all skill levels; from enthusiastic beginners interested in learning basic techniques to seasoned foodies looking to refine their expertise. Montague Kitchen will feature a wide array of classes, including fresh seafood preparation, pastry making, healthy eating workshops, fundamentals of cooking, knife skills, seasonal quarterly supper club dinner classes, parent/child classes and more.
