Middlesex High School’s boys soccer team is riding high on a wave of recent wins as it prepares for the regional tournament, which is set for Monday, May 20.

“We need to win out the season to secure a home regional quarter-final game,” said Head Boys Soccer Coach Conley Clark Laster IV. Winning the last two games versus Mathews and Lancaster will help the Chargers secure the no. 4 seed in the region.

The team played Wednesday, May 15 at Mathews High School. Results were unavailable at press time.

Next up is the regional tournament, starting Monday, May 20. The time and location will be announced later.
