Advances to state tourney

The Middlesex High School forensics team placed first in the Super Regional Tournament on February 29 at Galileo Magnet School in Danville.

Forensics combines the skills associated with speech, debate, acting and extemporaneous argument, all vital forms of critical thinking and communication for today’s workforce.

Points are granted based on the placement of the students in their individual events. Due to the marvelous work of the team, they earned enough points in their individual categories to win the Super Regional Tournament out of nine total teams. All four students will move on to the State Tournament at Clover Hill High School on March 28.
