The Middlesex High School golf team improved to 7-2 with a win 174-202 over Mathews on Sept. 12. Peyton Lambert shot 34 to again lead the Charger effort. Garrison Robins and Hudson McMinn each shot a 46. Cameron Lambert carded a 48.
The Chargers’ only losses this season came at the hands of King William, which is a double A school. Middlesex is a single A team.
