The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys golf team upset the King William Cavaliers to win the Tidewater District golf championship on Monday at Hobbs Hole Golf Course in Tappahannock.
The 2026 Charger golf team went into postseason play having won six of eight regular season matches with the only two defeats coming from a strong King William team.
“We have had an excellent regular season,” said MHS Head Golf Coach Steve Dunkel. “We have lost only two matches and the last one against King William we lost in a playoff.”
