On June 6, First Lt. Ellen Vest teamed up with Vice President Jim Brewer, Captain Ole Albert, and EMTs John Hosting, Lily Johnson, Caleb Mason and driver, Terry Hess, to reenact a crew’s response to cardiac arrest. The exercise included all possible steps including interacting with the patient, providing CPR, simulating the administration of medication while tracking the stats, timing and steps taken. Afterwards all attendees critiqued the crew’s performance and discussed where improvements could be made to ensure the most effective care and transport possible.

The squad is also always looking for volunteers. For information, email MCVRS President Lynn White at president@mcvrs.life.
