Three members of the Middlesex High School Lady Charger volleyball team were selected to the All-State second team. The honorees include senior Carly Jessie, and sophomores Kinsley Horn and Hannah Lambert.
This season for the first time, the Lady Chargers advanced to the finals of the Class 1 State Tournament finishing as runner up to Giles to close out their historic 25-3 season. The future looks bright for the Lady Chargers which is deep with young talent.
The Lady Charger coaching staff had the following to say about those All-State selections:
- • Carly Jessie — “We are just so proud of how she took on a completely new role in her final season with such grace and pride. She was the glue for our team this season.”
- • Kinsley Horn — “She is a powerhouse. She has come such a long way and has so much more to go. She allows our team to feel consistency and confidence and we can’t wait to see what else she will do.”
- • Hannah Lambert — “She is the voice of reason and anchor for our team. She is never rattled and brings a sense of peace to the court, along with amazing setting skills. We couldn’t ask for a better leader and are excited to see how far she will take us in the future.”
