MHS track teams finish on top at WP five-way meet

Charger Davonte Griffin is
a triple winner for boys

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger boys track team defeated four opponents at the West Point High School five-team meet in West Point on April 16.

The Chargers won the team portion of the meet scoring 106 points; Northumberland, second, 89 points; King William, third, 69; West Point, fourth, 45; and Westmoreland, fifth, 32 points.

Triple winner Davonte Griffin won the long jump (20’ 7”); 110-meter high hurdles (17.66); and 300-meter intermediate hurdles (47.51). Double winners Darius Jones and Kevin Turner also helped the Chargers…
