MHS tennis boys build foundation for the future

Middlesex High School’s (MHS) boys tennis team finishes its regular season with a record of zero team wins and six losses. Due to only having three players on the team, the boys team technically could never earn a win in a team match.

MHS boys tennis still had a team this year to try to build a future program. “Hopefully, we will have more interest next year,” said MHS Head Tennis Coach Matthew Short.

Aiden Eanes will be moving on to play in the Region 2A singles tournament (there is no Region 1A boys tournament in the VHSL. 1A boy players have to play in the 2A tournament) conducted on May 21 at Bruton High School.
