Concerns over COVID-19 push original day of June 6 to July 25

June 6 is supposed to be graduation day for the Middlesex High School (MHS) Class of 2020. However, COVID-19 has forced postponement of a traditional graduation ceremony. The 87 graduates are being recognized in other ways.
“They deserve something special for their senior year being cut short,” said MHS principal Susan Fleet.
A portrait of each senior has been erected on the grounds in front of the school. On June 6, which was to be graduation day, Fleet and the Charger mascot will deliver a banner to each of the graduates. The caravan will travel from Laneview to Stingray Point. “It’s worth it to give them a little something special,” said Fleet.
At this time, a 2020 Middlesex High School graduation ceremony is being planned…
