Chargers dull West Point Pointers
13-0 in slaughter rule win

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger varsity baseball team (3-6, 1-1) split last week in Tidewater District action, defeating West Point, 13-0, and losing to King William, 10-7.
The Chargers had a nine-run fourth inning to defeat West Point and to cap a slaughter (10 runs ahead by the fifth inning) rule to end the game at the top of the fifth inning. MHS had scored four runs in the third and Charger pitching held the Pointers scoreless.
