Middlesex County Public Schools (MCPS) kicked off its 2026-2027 school year with a convocation day on Thursday, Aug. 6, that included all school employees gathering at St. Clare Walker Middle School
“Over the past several years, we’ve incorporated an annual theme to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere while also strengthening teamwork and focusing our attention on the priorities that will guide us throughout the year,” she said.
“This year’s theme, ‘Sailing to Success,’ reflected our strategic plan, ‘Charting Our Course,’ and emphasized that every staff member plays an important role in helping our students succeed,” she said.
