Mary Ruth Selby, 91, of Hardyville passed away peacefully on August 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. Selby; parents, Albert and Naomi Johnson; sister, Edith Faulkner; and brother Oran Johnson.
Mary Ruth is survived by her son, Charles Albert (Al) Selby; grandson, Forest Selby (Agnieszka); three great-grandchildren, Natalia, Emilia, Gabriela; and sister-in-law, Betty Johnson.
She was a homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary Ruth was a lifelong member of Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville.
