HRSD to build main sewer line regardless of what county does

The Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) has committed to build a main sewer line along Route 33—even if Middlesex County does not build all of its wastewater collections systems.

This was among the revelations at the March 11 meeting of the Sewer Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC is composed of two members of the Middlesex Board of Supervisors (BOS), Pinetop District Supervisor Lud Kimbrough and Saluda District Supervisor Pete Mansfield; as well as Bryan Miller of Deltaville, Mike Kidd of Atlantic Underground, Ron Richie of Deltaville, and Greg Chambers, who chairs the Middlesex Water Authority (MWA).
