Laura Alison “Ali” Hull

On Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, Laura Alison “Ali” Hull, of Fremont, Calif. passed away peacefully in her home where she lived with her husband, Andrew “Andy” Mark Hull; and their dog, Jasper.

Alison was a respected Realtor in the Bay Area with Reality Experts. She also served as the ombudsman with Bay East Association of Realtors and volunteered countless hours working on mediation and arbitration to uphold the Professional Standards of the National Association of Realtor’s Code of Ethics. Alison received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Computing from Bournemouth University of the United Kingdom, where she and her husband had lived for the first 10 years of their marriage.
Alison grew up in rural Virginia, where both of her grandparents owned and operated farms. Because of this childhood, she loved country music, and developed her adoration of animals, growing up she could be found feeding calves, naming the farm animals or playing with wild barnyard kittens. Ali and Andy adopted several rescue pets over the years. She was an excellent cook, as one of her favorite things was enjoying good company and conversation over a well-prepared meal. Ali loved reading, she enjoyed fantasy and sci-fi, as well as many other genres. She had a love for the outdoors, enjoyed camping and participated in Renaissance Faires. Her loving smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Alison is survived by her husband, Andy Hull; her parents, Mark and Julie Bray of Hartfield, and Sheila and Ray Hull of Bournemouth, U.K.; her brother, Blake and Grace Bray of Virginia Beach; her sisters, Molly and Abraham Evans-EL of Alexandria, Sara and Dean Carey of Bournemouth, U.K. and Emma Kent of Bournemouth, U.K.; her nieces and nephews, Jamie, Lola Mae, Evie, Jack, Samuel and Zoe.

A celebration of life service is planned for Fremont Chapel of Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536; the time and date will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, Ali would have appreciated a donation to her favorite charity, which can be found at: https://www.adoptanangels.org/.
