The Keep Middlesex Beautiful (KMB) Committee is sponsoring a community-wide effort to pick up litter along the county highways and byways on Saturday, April 24. Everyone is invited to participate, either as individuals or with family, friends and neighbors, or as members of clubs and church groups.
From 8 to 10 a.m. on the 24th, volunteers can pick up free, extra-large and strong trash bags provided by VDOT (along with safety instructions and other supplies) at one of four locations:
- Deltaville Community Association parking lot.
- Middlesex Family YMCA parking lot.
- Cooks Corner Office Complex parking lot.
- Jamaica Transfer Center (behind Big John’s).
