John D. Blount Sr., 88, of Topping, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Ora H. Blount; two sons, John Jr. and Jonathan of Philadelphia, Pa.; one daughter, Zina Ferguson of Illinois; one sister, Doris Harris of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Greenhow (William) of Williamsburg and Delores White (Robert); two brothers-in-law, Warren Hodges and Gene of Gloucester; one granddaughter, Ashley Ferguson; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed.
Per Mr. Blount’s request, there will be no viewing or service. J.K. Redmond Funeral Home is assisting the family.
