Stephen Blue’s “Deltaville Lights” hosted its annual “Cookies & Cocoa with Friends” event on Saturday night. An estimated crowd of nearly 1,000 streamed through the display, visiting with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Snow Queen, as well as the Grinch and Gingy Gingerbread. It collected donations for Deltaville Ballpark and raised almost $3,000 — a record for the event. Deltaville Lights may be viewed for free 5-11 p.m. nightly through Dec. 31 at 16598 General Puller Highway, Deltaville.
