Hinebaughs recognized for Meals on Wheels work

Rose and Ron Hinebaugh

Ron and Rose Hinebaugh have been volunteering for Meals on Wheels for over two years.

The couple expressed, “Each week we are blessed to be able to check in on the recipients that we deliver to. We are very thankful to find them doing well, but if we have any concerns, we let the Meals on Wheels manager know right away so she can follow up with family members to assure their well-being.”

The Hinebaughs urge others to volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program to not only fill the need in the community, but to gain the inner fulfillment of positively impacting the lives of older adults in your neighborhood.

April is National Volunteer Month, and Bay Aging needs more Meals on Wheels volunteers in Middlesex County. To sign up, call Ken at 804-758-8853 or email him at krogers@bayaging.org.

To support the program with a financial gift, visit https://bayaging.org/support/ and click “DONATE.” To earmark the gift for Meals on Wheels, choose “Meals” in the Donation Designation section.
