YMCA Healthy Kids Day celebrations are coming up in Locust Hill and Kilmarnock. Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of children and families, according to a Y news release. For more than 30 years, YMCAs and their communities have hosted free community events to inspire youngsters and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond. The public is invited to the free rain or shine events.
