There will be an NAACP Community Health Fair 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church at 6470 Main St. in Gloucester. It is organized by the NAACP Health Committee in response to the NAACP’s goal of reducing health disparities for minority communities that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The health fair seeks to connect all citizens, of all ages and backgrounds, to health, mental health and health-related services.
Door prizes and many giveaways will be given throughout the day.
The Sentara Mammogram Van will be at the church for the event. To schedule a mammogram, call 757-388-2030, select option 1, then press 602262 to let them know which event you are attending.
