Benjamin Francis Garner, a talented and gifted musician from Newport News will be offering a free piano recital of carefully selected music for the whole community on Sunday, February 23, at 2 p.m. at Lower United Methodist Church at 120 Lower Church Road in Hartfield. He will play Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” and a collection of baroque and romantic concert pieces as well as some piano arrangements of hymn tunes.
