Superintendent’s message: Finishing strong together in Middlesex County

Middlesex County Public Schools is closing out the 2025-2026 school year with strong momentum, thanks to the dedication of our students and staff. We’ve seen meaningful gains across the division, including students in grades three through eight exceeding expectations on growth assessments, reflecting the strength of our data-driven instructional programs. Our faculty remains deeply committed to supporting every child, every day.

The final weeks are crucial for solidifying learning and preparing for the next step. We urge students to finish strong by:

  • Utilizing resources like VDOE practice items and TestNav to prepare for SOLs.
  • Studying in focused intervals and prioritizing sleep.
  • Seeking help from teachers immediately to address any learning gaps.
  • Forming collaborative peer study groups.
