Bay Aging recently recognized Kallie Robins, a contestant in the Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen Contest, for her leadership and compassion through her community service project, Nourish Middlesex. Inspired to make a difference and set an example for her two young “spats” (mentees), Kallie chose to tackle food insecurity head-on.

On Aug. 4, Bay Aging President-CEO Kathy Vesley met with Kallie at Bay Aging Headquarters to thank her personally for her thoughtful donation of $500 to the Meals on Wheels program. But that gift was just part of a much larger effort.
