The Water View Bluegrass Band and multiple bluegrass musicians are set to continue their Urbanna firehouse concert series at 7 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 6. The concerts will continue at the same time and place the first Saturday of every month — possibly through October. All feature bluegrass and classic country music.
Admission is free, but donations to the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) Auxiliary are welcome.
“Come, enjoy good music by professional musicians and those that enjoy playing and singing. Plus it will be cool inside,” said MVFD Auxiliary Treasurer June Williams. The Urbanna firehouse (the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department station) is at 335 Virginia St. in Urbanna.
