Chargers look sharp in Aug. 14 scrimmage; open at home Aug. 28 vs. Surry

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger football team conducted its first scrimmage of the year against the Eastern Shore of Virginia’s Nandua High School on Friday, Aug. 14, at the Syd Thrift Athletic Complex in Saluda.

The Bristow-Boxley Field scrimmage was delayed for about 30 minutes because of a high humidity index, but the level went down as cloud coverage brought temperatures and humidity down.
