Also square off with longtime border foe rival ‘Tapp’ in front of sell-out home crowd

The Deltaville Deltas took care of business on the road last week, but a late inning comeback attempt at home fell short on Saturday night. The Deltas pummeled the Richmond Yankees 15-1, but fell to the Tappahannock Tides by the score of 11-5.

This week, the Deltas travelled to Richmond for a Wednesday night road game against the Richmond Misfits — results were unavailable at press time. On Saturday night, the Deltas will host longtime league foe, the Richmond Brewers, who enter the week just ahead of the Deltas with a 6-1 record. First pitch at Deltaville Ballpark is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
