Wood bat baseball returns to Deltaville Ballpark this Saturday night, with the Deltaville Deltas kicking off their 2024 season.
The Deltas are coming off a 17-4 season in which they finished in first place in regular season action, but fell in the final game of the best-of-three Richmond NABA Championship Series against the Richmond El Heaters. It was the second year in a row the Deltas won the regular season title but fell in the championship, and the team will be focused on getting over the hump in the new season.
This year’s home schedule features 11 home games at Deltaville Ballpark, starting off with this weekend’s inter-league matchup with the Southside Washers of the Hampton Roads NABA. First pitch will be at 7:30 p.m. at Deltaville Ballpark.
