Minister Kimberly Williams of Well Church will deliver the Spoken Word at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 26, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 327 Town Bridge Road, Saluda.

Bay Aging has announced the launch of its newest Memory Café in Middlesex on Thursday, Sept. 17. The free monthly gathering will meet on the third Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Christ Church Parish, 56 Christchurch Lane, Christchurch.
Memory Café offers meaningful programming, friendship, and acceptance for people experiencing cognitive changes, along with family members, friends, and professional caregivers who support them. Participants are invited to enjoy conversation, connection, and community support in a welcoming setting.

Union Shiloh Baptist Church homecoming and beginning of revival is set for Sunday, Aug. 2. The morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. The message will be delivered by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Randolph Scott Sr. (757-957-1168).
Dinner will be served and the evening service will begin at 3:30 p.m. The evening message will be delivered by Bishop Carlton Johnson, pastor of Zion Branch Baptist Church. He will be accompanied by his choir, ushers, officers and congregation.

The Kingsmen Quartet is set to perform their 70th anniversary tour at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, 7722 General Puller Highway, Harmony Village. The community is invited and welcome to come. A love offering for the quartet will be taken up that evening. The quartet is bringing some of their four-part harmony musical treasures from those top 80 hits to life and with some new songs as well. It promises to be a night of celebration and praise for all God has done for the group, its supporters, and for faithfully keeping it going strong until today. A video will be shown sharing some of the history of this group.
The Kingsmen Quartet was formed in 1956 by the McKinney Brothers from the western hills of Asheville, N.C. This team of young men likely had no idea it would be performing 70 years later. They ascended to the peak of the gospel music industry with their Dove Award-winning record, “Big and Live.” The third generation singing members today include; Harold Reed, tenor; Josh Davis, lead; Alan Kendall, baritone; and Brady Jones, bass/pianist. The acclaimed big and live band will include Brandon Reese, son of Hall of Famer Ray Reese, as the drummer. Ray Reese is their current manager. This tour coincides with the release of a studio released album “Still Jesus, 70th Anniversary Record.”
Among their extensive list of hits included are some of gospel music’s most legendary classics, songs like “Saints Will Rise,” “The Judgment,” “Glory Road,” “Look for Me at Jesus’ Feet,” “Is that the Old Ship of Zion,” “He is all I Need,” “The Battle Cry,” and many others. In 2000, they were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, in the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2008, and nine of the quartet’s prestigious alumni are members of the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The public is most honorably welcome.
Immanuel Baptist Church of Saluda is now on its summer schedule and its Sunday worship services are at 10 a.m. The services are preceded by Sunday school, which runs 9-9:45 a.m., and a praise service, which is 9:50-10 a.m.
