The theme this year of Harmony Grove Baptist Church’s (HGBC) annual vacation Bible school (VBS) is “True North, Trusting Jesus in a Wild World.” HGBC will host the program continuing 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12. Each evening’s fun will include a light dinner, games, crafts and music for children ages 4-12.

In keeping with this year’s theme, children are encouraged to dress up in the costume of their favorite outdoor/woods animal while attending VBS. The decorations for this year’s event are camp/outdoors/northern lights.

Have you lost a spouse and are seeking support and coping skills during your time of grief and loss? An Urbanna Baptist Church (UBC) program to address this consists of a video presentation, group support, and a devotional and guide.
Program participants will meet 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays through June 23 at UBC Fellowship Hall. There is a $20 fee for registration (this includes a participant’s book). There are scholarships available for registration fees as well.
