The Chesapeake Chorale recently announced the opening of its 29th season of Christmas concerts. Rehearsals will begin at 7 p.m. Sept. 14, at Grace Episcopal Church, 303 S. Main St., Kilmarnock, and will continue each Monday through November.
Christmas concerts will be offered at 8 p.m. Dec. 5 at Lancaster Elementary School, 191 School St., Kilmarnock and Dec. 6 at St. Clare Walker Middle School, 6814 General Puller Highway, Locust Hill, reported Carole Fletcher.
“Our singers come from all around the Northern Neck to join this mixed chorus,” said Fletcher. “We welcome new members as well as returning ones. There are no auditions required, only a love of singing and the enjoyment of the Christmas season music.”
