Carole Jacques McPherson, 87, went home to her Lord very peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.
She was born in New Orleans, La. on April 20, 1934 and was a resident of Virginia since 1937, starting in Chesapeake. She married and raised her four lovely children in Norfolk. She lived her golden retirement years in Urbanna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Floyd McPherson; parents, Frank John Jacques Sr. and Florence G. Jacques; and a sister, Florence Jean Jacques Supan. She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Marie Grenier (Paul Grenier), Cheryl Jacques Coyne, Lisa Ann Wilson; one son, Charles Robert Irwin III.; one sister, Iris Haresign; and one brother, Frank John Jacques Jr.
Carole was blessed with six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she dearly loved. Carole was a member of Catholic Church of the Visitation in Topping, and was the pillar of her church community for many years.
The funeral service will be conducted in Hampton Roads, her hometown, where she will be surrounded by all of her family which, love her dearly.
