All are welcome to worship at All Saints Anglican Church on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, by the historic Middlesex County Courthouse in Saluda at 7 p.m. The traditional candlelight service celebrates the birth of Jesus with the liturgy and carols. The Rev. Jeffrey Johnson sanitizes the communion rail and the congregation practices social distancing with masking as worshippers are comfortable. “The center candle is called the wChrist candle representing Jesus Christ among us, just as God said He would be Immanuel — God with us,” the Rev. Johnson said.
On the following Sunday, Dec. 27, the traditional Lessons and Carols will be heard at the regular 11 a.m. service time. Christmas music featuring flutes and cellos will be presented.
