Maritime Park concert series opens with Aiken duo May 1

Amy and Mike Aiken

The board and staff of Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park will reopen the museum and the Groovin’ in the Park music series on Saturday, May 1. Virginia country music artists Mike and Amy Aiken will take waterfront stage from 5:30-8 p.m. All current COVID-19 restrictions will apply. A ticket and a mask will be required for entry.

Limited advance individual tickets and members only ticket packages are now on sale for the museum’s 2021 casual, outdoor concert series by phone, online and at Nauti Nell’s store in Deltaville. The advance package will only be available through 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1. The warm weather is here and the music will be before you know it, so it’s time to grab your ticket savings early for the 2021 Groovin’ season.

Groovin’ is a “bring your own lawn chair and picnic” event. Hot food and cold beverages will be available. The gates will always be open one hour before the concerts for picnicking.

On opening weekend Saturday, May 1, we present our first special performance and our first-ever country music artist. The Mike and Amy Aiken Band will take the stage bringing the sound of Nashville with a creek view. Check out Mike, Amy, their music and albums at http://www.mikeaikenmusic.com. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door…
