Zoar Baptist Church congregants gather under the pines at Deltaville’s Stingray Point for a “beachside” worship service this month. Each Sunday through Labor Day weekend, there will be an outdoor worship service offered on Zoar’s beachside grounds at Stingray Point 8:30-9:15 a.m. Services are conducted near the end of General Puller Highway (Route 33). Take a left on Speck Avenue. In case of rain, the service will be moved to the Zoar fellowship hall. You can check Zoar Baptist Church’s Facebook page for cancellations or contact the church office to receive text notifications. In addition to this service, Zoar will live stream/record a Sunday school class on Zoar’s Facebook page or on YouTube at 9:30 a.m. Then at 10:30 a.m., the worship service will be live streamed or you are welcome to come to the sanctuary which is located on Route 33 next to the Deltaville Community Association building/swimming pool. Social distancing rules will apply and masks are required. Sanitizing stations and a portable toilet will be available. (Contributed photo)
